Live the language
English is treated as a medium for thinking, reacting, creating and connecting—not as a list of rules translated from Greek.
A TWO-VOLUME ENGLISH EXPERIENCE
The British Cherry is an original English course for Greek teenagers who have completed B Senior and want to move through C and D Senior towards B2—without spending years speaking about English instead of speaking it.

The vision behind The British Cherry is ambitious but simple: Greek teenagers should be able to develop the ease, confidence and everyday relationship with English associated with highly proficient European learners.
The series draws inspiration from Dutch-style communicative learning, rich English-language input and meaningful cross-curricular content. It does not imitate another country’s textbook. It recreates the conditions that make language usable: frequency, purpose, interaction, curiosity and courage.
THE MISSION
The British Cherry compresses the essential grammar and vocabulary of C and D Senior into one coherent two-volume pathway, while giving speaking the space it usually loses. Grammar serves meaning. Vocabulary enters through context. Reading opens a world. Writing has a real reader. Speaking is not the last five minutes—it is the engine.
WHAT THE SERIES DOES
English is treated as a medium for thinking, reacting, creating and connecting—not as a list of rules translated from Greek.
Every unit moves learners towards interaction: quick reactions, role-play, mediation, monologue, debate and collaborative decision-making.
Original readings connect language with identity, technology, culture, evidence, media literacy, citizenship and the choices teenagers actually face.
A–Z vocabulary indexes, unit references and active-recall checkboxes turn revision into a visible system for long-term language ownership.
